Türkçede rakamların sonuna konan nokta sayesinde –ıncı, -inci anlamı katar. Ingilizcede bu durunm biraz farklıdır. Rakamların üzerine getirilen –th ekleri ile yapılır. Yalnız 1,2 ve 3 rakamlarına getirilen harfler farklıdır aşağıdaki rakamlara bakarak öğreniniz.
