Simple Present Tense Konu Anlatımı

İngilizce’de Simple Present Tense’in olumlu, olumsuz ve soru cümlelerini nasıl kuracağınızı açıklayayım:

Olumlu Cümleler: Olumlu cümlelerde, Simple Present Tense’in olumlu formu düzenli bir şekilde kullanılır.

Subject (Özne) + Base Verb (Fiilin Yalın Hali) (+ “s” 3. tekil şahıslar için)

  • I play tennis. (Tenis oynarım.)
  • She reads books. (O kitap okur.)
  • We eat pizza. (Biz pizza yeriz.)

Üçüncü tekil şahıslar (he, she, it) için fiilin sonuna “s” eklenir.

Olumsuz Cümleler: Olumsuz cümlelerde, yardımcı fiil olarak “do” veya “does” kullanılır, ardından “not” eklenir ve fiil yalın halde gelir.

Subject + Do/Does + Not + Base Verb

  • I do not (don’t) play football. (Ben futbol oynamam.)
  • He does not (doesn’t) like vegetables. (O sebzeleri sevmez.)
  • They do not (don’t) watch TV in the morning. (Sabahları onlar televizyon izlemezler.)

Soru Cümleleri: Soru cümlelerinde, cümlenin başına “do” veya “does” eklenir ve fiil yalın halde gelir. 3. tekil şahıslar için “does” kullanılır. Soru işareti cümlenin sonunda yer alır.

Do/Does + Subject + Base Verb?

  • Do you like coffee? (Kahve sever misin?)
  • Does she study French? (O Fransızca çalışır mı?)
  • Do they play the guitar? (Onlar gitar çalarlar mı?)

Özetle, Simple Present Tense (Geniş Zaman) cümle kurarken, olumlu cümlelerde fiil yalın haliyle kullanılırken, olumsuz cümlelerde “do” veya “does” yardımcı fiili ile “not” eklenir ve fiil yalın haliyle gelir. Soru cümlelerinde ise “do” veya “does” yardımcı fiili kullanılır ve cümlenin sırası değişir. Üçüncü tekil şahıslar için “does” kullanılırken diğer şahıslar için “do” kullanılır.

Soru Cümleleri:

  1. Do you like swimming? (Yüzmeyi sever misin?)
  2. Does he live in New York? (O New York’ta mı yaşar?)
  3. Do they have any pets? (Onların evcil hayvanları var mı?)
  4. Does she work on weekends? (O hafta sonları çalışır mı?)
  5. Do we need to bring anything for the party? (Parti için herhangi bir şey getirmemiz gerekiyor mu?)
